In the last seven months our precious granddaughter and a younger brother have passed from this life into Heaven’s reward. Although we miss their presence, we receive hope in the goodness of God. This is possible due to the spiritual DNA that we receive at salvation.

Something happens when we meditate on His Word and allow our minds to be renewed from Heaven’s point of view.  When waves of sorrow and sadness try to overwhelm us, it is our choice to lean hard on the provisions of our God.  You see, there are waves of grace available for us.  His grace is available to give us the strength we need to fulfill our days and run our race to the end.

If you are going through times of mourning, I would encourage you to tap into the grace of God.  It is our choice to either dwell in dismay and sadness or to rise up in the anointing of God and make every day count for Jesus. I haven’t lost my granddaughter or my brother.  I know exactly where they are.  They have finished their race and are enjoying the rewards and glory of Heaven. As a result, I refuse to allow anything to keep me from finishing my race well too. I choose to love, forgive, encourage and bless others. It is my choice to receive the joy of the Lord instead of heaviness of heart. His grace is sufficient for me and I believe it is for you too!
